According to chief meteorologist Kevin Harned at El-Balad, the Louisville Metro area could receive between 1 to 4 inches of snow. Areas north and northwest of the city may see slightly higher totals.

Travel conditions are anticipated to become hazardous, especially during the overnight hours and the Friday morning commute. A Weather Alert Day has been issued for commuters facing slick roadways.
