Wildflower Interactive, a new game studio established by Bruce Straley, has announced its first game, “Coven of the Chicken Foot.” This single-player fantasy puzzle platformer features Gertie, an elderly witch, who partners with a large creature to fulfill an oath.

“Coven of the Chicken Foot” offers a unique gaming experience without any dialogue. The game encourages players to rethink traditional hero narratives, highlighting stories from unconventional perspectives. Players will traverse various environments, including:

- Catacombs of fallen heroes
- Bogs
While exploring these settings, Gertie battles enemies and solves puzzles. Her companion, the large creature, learns and adapts based on the player’s actions, enhancing gameplay dynamics and strategies as players progress.

Bruce Straley, a veteran from Naughty Dog, founded Wildflower Interactive after a five-year hiatus from the gaming industry. He spent 18 years at Naughty Dog, contributing to several critically acclaimed titles including the “Jak and Daxter” series and co-directing “Uncharted 2,” “The Last of Us,” and “Uncharted 4.” Straley’s focus for Wildflower is on creating compact, innovative games that challenge conventional storytelling in video games.
