The Texas volleyball team is on a strong path as they head into the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The Longhorns, who hold a 24-3 record, showcased their talent in the first two rounds of the tournament at Gregory Gymnasium. They achieved impressive victories, defeating Florida A&M and No. 8 Penn State with ease.

Texas Volleyball Dominates Early Rounds

In the first round, Texas emerged victorious against unseeded Florida A&M, followed by a commanding win over Penn State, which was last year’s champion. The Longhorns displayed an impressive offensive performance, hitting better than .400 in both matches. Their defensive prowess was equally notable, with a formidable block and back row that kept opponents at bay.
