Three-Time Pro Bowl Safety Announces Return to Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are welcoming back veteran safety Quandre Diggs, who confirmed his return through social media. This move comes amidst multiple injuries in the team’s safety lineup, prompting a reunion with the player known for his impactful past seasons in Seattle.
Quandre Diggs: A Key Player Returns
Quandre Diggs recently played for the Tennessee Titans but was released in early November. Following his release, the Seahawks have expressed interest in signing him to their practice squad. Diggs previously spent 4.5 seasons with the Seahawks from 2019 until 2023, showcasing his talent and making a significant impact during these years.
Pro Bowl Career
During his tenure in Seattle, Diggs earned three Pro Bowl selections. He recorded impressive statistics, including:
- 345 total tackles
- 32 pass deflections
- 18 interceptions
After his time with the Seahawks, Diggs played 17 games, with 12 starts, for the Titans between 2024 and 2025. In that period, he accumulated 72 tackles and one pass deflection. However, this phase did not match the greatness of his previous years in Seattle.
Future Prospects
At 32 years old, Diggs has the opportunity to retire with the Seahawks, the team where he had the best performances of his NFL career. His signing, although likely just for the practice squad, underscores the team’s effort to bolster their safety group.
Head coach Mike Macdonald has yet to confirm if Julian Love will return from injured reserve for the upcoming Week 13 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Meanwhile, Ty Okada, who replaced Love, left the field during a recent game against the Titans.
As the Seahawks navigate their roster and injuries, Diggs’ return is a notable development for the franchise as they look to strengthen their defense and continue their push in the competitive NFC playoff picture.
