Upcoming Games
The Gauchos will first face off against the unblemished LMU, who holds a 5-0 record, on Monday, November 17. Following that, they will head to Reno to challenge the Nevada Wolf Pack on November 22. Both games promise thrilling action for the players and fans alike.

Recent Performances
Last week, the Gauchos displayed a formidable offense, scoring 85 and 92 points in victories over San Jose State and Sacramento State, respectively. The match against Sacramento State was a nail-biter, concluding with a 92-87 score.
Analyzing the Lions
LMU, under Head Coach Stan Johnson, finished the previous season with a 17-15 record. Johnson is beginning his sixth season and hopes to guide the team to another winning record, even after losing their top four scorers.
- The Lions have welcomed 11 new student-athletes this season to bolster their roster.
- Defensively, LMU has started strong, averaging only 61.5 points allowed per game.
This season, LMU has been predicted to finish sixth in the West Coast Conference, aiming to improve on last year’s playoff performance where they exited in the second round.
Scouting the Wolf Pack
After their game against LMU, the Gauchos will compete against the Nevada Wolf Pack. Nevada, coached by veteran Steve Alford, has made substantial roster changes, losing their top five scorers from last season.
- The Wolf Pack will look to capitalize on six new player acquisitions from the transfer portal.
- Defensively, they aim to maintain a strong presence, similar to last year’s average of 68.1 points allowed per game.
Before facing UCSB, Nevada will play two additional games, seeking to build momentum.
