Jaguars Player Poised for Fantasy Breakout in Week 11

The Jacksonville Jaguars have faced challenges in the 2025 NFL season, posing difficulties for fantasy football enthusiasts. Despite the expectations from fans and analysts alike, the team’s offensive consistency has not come to fruition under Head Coach Liam Coen.

Key Fantasy Players

Among the players, Travis Etienne Jr. stands out as the most dependable option. He averages 13.7 points in full-PPR formats, ranking 13th among running backs. This performance surpasses his draft position of RB30, where he was selected 90th overall.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has also exceeded expectations, scoring an average of 16.7 points, placing him 16th among quarterbacks despite being drafted as QB20. However, outside of these two key players, the Jaguars’ roster has not performed well in fantasy leagues.

Injuries and Disappointments

  • Travis Hunter Jr. showed promise after a strong Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams but ended his season with an injury.
  • Brenton Strange had potential as a TE2 but is currently on injured reserve.
  • Brian Thomas Jr. has disappointed many fantasy football managers this season.

Jakobi Meyers: A Potential Breakout

Jakobi Meyers, recently acquired from the Las Vegas Raiders, entered the Jaguars hoping for a fresh start. Initially viewed as a sleeper pick for the WR2 role in fantasy football, Meyers had a rocky debut. He caught three passes for 44 yards in his first game with Jacksonville, limited to just 21 snaps.

There were missed opportunities during his debut, including potential receptions negated by penalties, which included a touchdown. Nonetheless, Meyers has a chance to make an impact in the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Past Success Against the Chargers

Meyers performed admirably against the Chargers earlier this season while playing for the Raiders. In their Week 2 matchup, he scored 12.8 points, catching six passes for 68 yards. Furthermore, he delivered a standout performance in January with nine catches for 123 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers.

Jaguars fans are eager to see if Meyers can replicate that success, which could signal a breakout performance this week. Attention remains on his integration within the Jacksonville offense.
