J.P. Estrella exited the Tennessee basketball game against Rice on November 17 due to a left leg injury. This incident occurred just before halftime, when the Vols announced that he would not return to the game.
During the game, Estrella was involved in a rebounding effort when he fell backward after losing the ball. Rice forward Stephen Giwa landed on Estrella’s lower leg during the play.
