Cineplex Offers Free Movies This Weekend: Catch These Films

As winter descends on Toronto, Cineplex aims to provide a cozy indoor experience. This weekend, be prepared for a morning filled with free movies and enjoyable snacks as part of their Community Day. Starting at 9 a.m. on November 15, Cineplex will offer complimentary screenings and $3 concessions.
To further enhance the event, $1 from every concession sold will be donated to BGC Canada, a social organization supporting safe spaces for children and youth. Additionally, early arrivals will receive a play card allowing 30 minutes of free gaming at the XSCAPE entertainment center.
Cineplex Free Movies This Weekend: Screening Schedule

- Sing 2 – Screening at 10 a.m. This animated film follows koala Buster Moon and his team as they attempt to secure an audition with a renowned rock star.
- Puss In Boots: The Last Wish – Beginning at 10:20 a.m. This adventure finds Puss embarking on a quest to regain nine lost cat lives, seeking help from his former partner, Kitty Soft Paws.
- The Wild Robot – Showcasing at 10:40 a.m. This film debuted at TIFF 2024 and tells the story of a robot stranded on an island, where she bonds with wildlife and cares for an orphaned goose.
- Minions: The Rise of Gru – This movie brings back Gru as a 12-year-old aspiring supervillain in the 1970s, who dreams of joining the Vicious 6 with the support of his Minions.
