Hayley Williams Fights Scalpers with Solo Tour Presale Strategy

Hayley Williams is taking significant steps to counteract the challenges posed by ticket scalping for her upcoming solo tour. In an effort to allow genuine fans access to her shows, she has implemented a robust presale strategy aimed at preventing scalpers from monopolizing ticket sales.
Presale Strategy Against Scalpers
The musician acknowledged the difficulties surrounding ticket purchasing and emphasized her commitment to her fans. “You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to buy tickets to see the show, but unfortunately, it’s a broken and convoluted system,” Williams stated on Instagram.
- Presale registration dates: November 10 at 10 a.m. ET to November 11 at 10 a.m. ET.
- Two-factor authentication will be required, including email and phone verification.
- Access will be granted through a unique code.
Though not all verified fans may secure tickets, this initiative is designed to ensure that the competition will be between fans rather than bots or scalpers. Williams expressed her dedication to providing tickets at face value. “I want to get tickets into the hands of my fans, at a price that is as reasonable as I could get it,” she remarked.

In eligible states, ticket transfers will be disabled to reduce scalping opportunities, a move that may disappoint some fans in New York and Chicago.
While Williams reflects on the challenges of the ticketing system, she remains optimistic. “I can’t wait to be back on the road and see all of your faces,” she shared, expressing her anticipation for the tour following her third solo album, *Ego Death*, released in August.
