Hedge Maze Halloween Update: 99 Nights in the Forest Guide

The latest Halloween update for 99 Nights in the Forest introduces an exciting new attraction: The Hedge Maze. This update, the third in a series of Halloween enhancements, features a carnival and a haunted maze to explore. Players can engage in games and hunt for treasures, while also taking advantage of seasonal items available in the Halloween Shop.

The Hedge Maze Update Overview

A significant feature of the Hedge Maze update is the introduction of a carnival, which opens on Day 3 of the event. Players will receive a notification stating, “The Carnival is in town,” accompanied by festive music. The carnival games are conveniently located near the Haunted Maze, making it a prime spot for players.

Carnival Games

To enter the Haunted Maze, players need to collect three Carnival Tickets. These tickets can be earned through various games:

  • Ring Toss: Earn 3 points to win a ticket by tossing rings onto bottles.
  • Basketball: Achieve 3 points by shooting basketballs into hoops.
  • Shooting Range: Required 5 points for a ticket by hitting five moving targets.

Timing is crucial, especially when playing at night, as players must be cautious of wildlife, particularly Deer, which can pose a threat. It is advisable to engage in these activities during daylight for safety.

Exploring the Haunted Maze

After acquiring the necessary Carnival Tickets, players can access the Haunted Maze. They will encounter a large gate at the entrance and must proceed to the end to exit. It’s recommended to bring supplies like food and Bandages, in case the maze takes longer to navigate.

Inside, players may confront wolves and an Alpha Wolf. To enhance your chances of success in navigating the maze, consider the following strategies:

  • Follow any visible red arrows, which indicate helpful directions.
  • If lost, keep your right hand on the wall and follow it to find an exit.

At the end of the maze, a chest awaits containing a valuable Bouncing Blade. After claiming your loot, interact with the wooden hatch to exit.

New Features and Items

This update also brings a new class, the Vampire class, purchasable for 600 Gems, offering buffs and lifesteal at night. This new feature adds depth to gameplay, catering to players who prefer evening exploration.

Halloween Shop Items

The Halloween Shop will soon close, making this the last opportunity for players to purchase limited-time items. Below is a list of available items and their prices in Candy:

Item Candy Price
Trick or Treater Class 30 Candy
Witch 900 Candy
Spooky Crock Pot 25 Candy
Halloween Decor 10 Candy
Jack-o’-lantern 20 Candy
Zombie Wolf 350 Candy

As items marked with a clock icon are temporary, players are encouraged to act fast before the Halloween Shop closes.

In summary, the Hedge Maze update in 99 Nights in the Forest enriches the Halloween experience with new challenges, an array of games, and unique items, making it a thrilling time for players to explore and enjoy festive activities.
