Status Report
Both teams opted for a morning skate on Friday. Nazem Kadri participated in the Flames’ skate after missing Thursday’s practice. Yegor Sharangovich will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for two games. Justin Kirkland, meanwhile, will sit out.
Additionally, Dryden Hunt was recalled from the American Hockey League prior to the game. For the Jets, Eric Comrie will take to the ice for his second start of the season. This comes after Connor Hellebuyck allowed three goals, including two empty-netters, in a recent 3-0 loss against the Seattle Kraken.
