Engineers are actively working to restore power to all affected properties, with full service expected to resume by 2:30 PM. The prompt response aims to minimize inconvenience for residents.

This unscheduled outage comes just two weeks after another significant disruption. On May 24th, hundreds of homes and businesses faced power cuts in the early hours of the morning. Areas impacted included:

- Lerwick
- North Isles
- Brae
- Mossbank
