Call of Duty: Warzone Among Xbox One Games Delisting in June 2026

Activision has announced significant changes for the Call of Duty franchise, particularly affecting Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users. The popular battle royale title, Call of Duty: Warzone, will officially be delisted from these platforms on June 4, 2026.
Delisting of Call of Duty: Warzone
Following the delisting date, players will no longer be able to download Call of Duty: Warzone from the Microsoft Store for Xbox One or the PlayStation Store. However, users who already have the game in their library will still be able to play it until the conclusion of Season 06 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Key Dates
- June 4, 2026: Call of Duty: Warzone gets delisted. New downloads prohibited.
- June 25, 2026: The in-game store for Warzone will also be removed from Xbox One and PS4 versions.
This decision is part of a broader trend, as three Xbox One games are set to be removed in early June 2026. In addition to Warzone, two other titles, Horizon Chase Turbo and Rec Room, are scheduled for delisting on June 1. Unlike Warzone, these games have not been optimized for the Xbox Series X and Series S but remain playable through backward compatibility.
Other Games Affected
- Horizon Chase Turbo: Expected to be delisted on June 1, 2026. Unclear if a new edition will replace it.
- Rec Room: Also set to be removed on June 1, 2026.
In contrast, Call of Duty: Warzone for newer consoles, including the Xbox Series X and Series S, will remain available. As we face these changes, it raises questions among players regarding their gaming experiences on legacy platforms.
