A strong emphasis on sustainability is evident, with facilities designed to support training in next-generation construction practices. This approach aims to help students transition to a more sustainable built environment, particularly through retrofitting skills.
Support and Funding
The new construction facility was supported by funding from the Department for Education and collaboration with key partners, including Moss Architecture Interiors Ltd and MDA Consulting. This initiative comes on the heels of the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group being ranked first in Yorkshire & the Humber for student achievement among General Further Education Colleges for 2024/2025.
