Aerin Frankel played a pivotal role in leading the U.S. women’s hockey team to victory against Canada in Milan, Italy. The decisive match took place on February 19, 2026, concluding with a score of 2-1 in overtime. This win marked the United States’ third Olympic gold medal in women’s hockey, following their first triumph in 1998 and another in 2018.
