Scoring Breakdown

The Sirens responded with goals from Sarah Fillier and Anna Bargman, but their efforts fell short. After Bargman’s goal cut the deficit to 3-2 in the second period, Vancouver regained momentum, with Vanisova’s goal extending the lead to 4-2 in the third.

Shokhina’s opening goal also marked only the second successful power play for the Goldeneyes at home this season, as they now stand at 2 for 23 in such opportunities.

Standings and Upcoming Matches

This victory places Vancouver within three points of New York in the league standings, as they currently occupy the seventh position. Their next match will conclude a five-game homestead against the Minnesota Frost. Meanwhile, the New York Sirens will return to play against the Seattle Torrent on March 25.

Fillier continues to lead the Sirens with five goals and 11 assists this season, showing promise for upcoming games despite their current losing streak of four consecutive road losses.
