NVIDIA Unveils NemoClaw for OpenClaw Community Support

NVIDIA has introduced the NemoClaw™ stack to enhance the OpenClaw community, enabling easy installation of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI models and runtime environments. This innovative platform aims to provide enhanced security and privacy controls for autonomous AI agents, also referred to as “claws.” Users can now deploy these capabilities with a single command, making it simpler than ever to utilize AI technology.

NemoClaw Features and Benefits

The introduction of NemoClaw marks a significant advancement in AI assistant technology. Key features include:

  • Single-command installation of NVIDIA Nemotron™ models and OpenShell™ runtime.
  • Strengthened privacy and security controls for autonomous agents.
  • Compatibility with various operating systems, including dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ PCs.

According to Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, OpenClaw represents a new era for AI, likening it to an operating system specifically tailored for personal AI applications. “OpenClaw opened the next frontier of AI to everyone and became the fastest-growing open source project in history,” he stated, highlighting its significance in the industry.

OpenClaw and Its Accessibility

OpenClaw aims to democratize AI technology by allowing users to create and manage their own AI assistants. Peter Steinberger, the creator of OpenClaw, emphasized the platform’s vision of making powerful AI more accessible. It provides the necessary infrastructure for these virtual agents to operate under strict policy-based security protocols.

Integration with Local and Cloud Models

NemoClaw supports the integration of both local and cloud-based AI models. By utilizing a privacy router, agents can access advanced models in the cloud while still operating securely on local systems. This dual approach enables AI agents to develop new skills and execute tasks effectively while adhering to essential privacy and security measures.

Supported Platforms

This tool can run on various dedicated platforms, including:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ PCs and laptops
  • NVIDIA RTX™ PRO-powered workstations
  • NVIDIA DGX Station™ and NVIDIA DGX Spark™ AI supercomputers

These options ensure that users can run their autonomous AI agents around the clock, making the most of dedicated computing resources.

Upcoming Events

For those interested in exploring NemoClaw and OpenClaw, NVIDIA will host a build-a-claw event at GTC Park from March 16-19. Attendees can customize and deploy a proactive AI assistant during the following hours:

  • Monday: 1-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
