On a somber Wednesday, the Pentagon disclosed the last two names of six US servicemen who lost their lives in a recent drone strike in Kuwait. Among the deceased are Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan, 54, from Sacramento, California, and Major Jeffrey O’Brien, 45, from Indianola, Iowa.

Details of the Fatal Drone Strike

The strike occurred at a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait. Chief Warrant Officer Marzan is believed to have died on-site, pending medical examiner confirmation. Major O’Brien served as a signal officer and had a rich 20-year career in cybersecurity.

  • Sgt. Declan Coady, 20, West Des Moines, Iowa (posthumously promoted from Specialist)
  • Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, 39, White Bear Lake, Minnesota
  • Capt. Cody Khork, 35, Winter Haven, Florida
  • Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, Bellevue, Nebraska

All six soldiers were members of the 103rd Sustainment Command, an Army Reserve unit responsible for vital logistics and supply operations.
