Charlton Athletic has officially signed Scotland international Lyndon Dykes on a permanent deal. The acquisition of Dykes marks an important addition to the club’s attacking options as they strengthen their squad during the current transfer window.

Born on the Gold Coast in Australia, Dykes began his football journey with several clubs, including Mudgeeraba and Gold Coast City. He joined Queen of the South in 2016, where he excelled with 23 goals and 34 assists in 136 appearances.
Career Progression
Following his success in Scotland, he moved to Livingston and emerged as the team’s top scorer in his first season. In 2020, Dykes transferred to Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee. Over four years in London, he netted 37 goals and contributed 12 assists, while also making 48 appearances for the Scotland national team, scoring 10 goals.
Latest Club Transfers
In August 2024, Dykes joined Birmingham City, helping the team secure the Sky Bet League One title in his first season. He played 23 times for the Blues this term.
