During the ceremony, the Kraft family announced significant financial support for various nonprofit organizations. Each volunteer recognized as a “Patriots Difference Maker” received a $10,000 grant. Additionally, a special $25,000 grant was awarded to Community Nurse, Inc. on behalf of Madeline Cooke, the 2025 Patriots Difference Maker of the Year.
Highlighting the Impact of Volunteers
Madeline Cooke, a dedicated hospice volunteer, has made remarkable contributions throughout her service. She started volunteering during the pandemic and became the sole volunteer continuing her visits to patients amid challenging circumstances. Her efforts provided vital companionship and support to families during a time of isolation.
Speaking about her recognition, Madeline expressed her gratitude: “To be chosen as a Difference Maker promoting volunteerism has been amazing. This honor inspires me going forward to do more for hospice patients and their families.”
