In a significant move, the Montréal Canadiens have signed defenseman Bryce Pickford to a three-year entry-level contract. General manager Kent Hughes announced the agreement on Wednesday. The contract will run from the 2025-26 season through the 2027-28 season.

This season, Bryce Pickford has played 31 games in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Medicine Hat Tigers. His performance has been remarkable, as he leads the WHL with 25 goals. Additionally, he has contributed 19 assists, bringing his total points to 44, which ranks him fourth in the league.

At just 19 years old, Pickford has already established himself as a prominent player. He serves as the captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers and is currently in his fourth junior season.
