Following the revelation, the Grand Orange Lodge of Central Scotland initiated an inquiry to assess whether Cousins should maintain her membership. David Walters, Executive Officer of the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland, confirmed the ongoing investigation. He stated, “The inquiry will examine if her actions have brought disrepute to the organization.”

A family friend, who previously styled her hair for Orange Order-related events, described Cousins as a “serial liar.” This friend noted the unrealistic appearance of the fake bump, mentioning visible straps: “It was all lumpy, and you could see the straps on her back holding it on.”
