Delta Air Lines and Uber are collaborating to provide enhanced travel experiences for their SkyMiles Members. Their partnership aims to streamline the airport drop-off process at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) while introducing exclusive earning opportunities. This initiative coincides with the holiday season, enhancing customer convenience and satisfaction.

The recently launched drop-off pilot program at LGA focuses on reducing congestion and improving customer service. SkyMiles Members can select “Express Drop Off, Checked-In,” allowing them to enjoy curbside hospitality and swift access to security.

As of now, over 1.4 million SkyMiles Members have linked their Delta and Uber accounts. This integration enables them to earn miles on both Uber rides and Uber Eats deliveries. This strategy enhances loyalty and rewards members for their lifestyle choices beyond air travel.

Earning Miles with Uber

After linking their accounts, SkyMiles Members can earn miles in the following ways:

  • 3 miles per eligible dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips.
  • 2 miles per eligible dollar spent on premium rides (Uber Comfort and Uber Black).
  • 1 mile per eligible dollar spent on UberX rides to and from airports.
  • 1 mile per eligible dollar spent on $40+ restaurant and grocery orders via Uber Eats.

Exclusive Offers for Members

SkyMiles Members also enjoy special promotions. Currently, they can access a 30% discount (up to $20) on their next Uber Reserve ride when connecting through Delta Sync Wi-Fi during flights.
