FC Porto Announces Froholdt’s Injury

FC Porto will be without Victor Froholdt for the upcoming match against Sintrense due to a physical injury he sustained while on international duty with Denmark. Coach Francesco Farioli previously indicated that Froholdt returned with an injury but did not provide specific details at that time.
Injury Update on Victor Froholdt
The official medical report from FC Porto confirmed that Froholdt is dealing with a right knee trauma. At just 19 years old, this injury adds him to the growing list of unavailable players, which includes Jan Bednarek and Nehuén Pérez. Both also will not participate in the fourth round of the Taça de Portugal.
Froholdt’s Impact on FC Porto
- Joined FC Porto from Copenhaga last summer.
- Has played 16 official matches this season.
- Contributed three assists and two goals.
Froholdt’s role has become vital in Farioli’s game plan. He recently played the full 90 minutes in a match against Scotland, which unfortunately ended in a loss for Denmark, forcing them into the play-offs for the 2026 World Cup.
As FC Porto prepares for the next match, the team will need to adjust without Froholdt’s contributions.
