Susan Gail Tuck Sweetman Honored for Remarkable Contributions

Susan Gail Tuck Sweetman, who passed away on October 28, 2025, is remembered for her exceptional contributions to her community and family. She is survived by her husband Brian R. Sweetman, sister-in-law Amy J. Sweetman, and cousin Cheryl Brideau, among other family members.

Born in 1959, Susan worked in various roles that showcased her dedication and skills. Her professional journey included retail sales and administrative work with respected organizations, such as:

- Roseland United Church
- Essex United Church
Beyond her professional life, Susan was deeply involved in her church communities, particularly at Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Chatham and Essex United Church. Her vibrant spirit and generosity touched many lives.
Passions and Interests
Susan was passionate about numerous activities that brought her joy. She enjoyed:
- Music and choir singing
- Art and theatre
- Gardening
- Traveling
- Spending time with family and friends
She cherished her peaceful moments at Kahshe Lake, where she enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage and the companionship of her feline pets.
Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life service took place at Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Chatham. While her passing brings sorrow, her loved ones are reminded of her generous spirit and joyful essence.
Future Arrangements
Private inurnment services will occur at Greenhill Cemetery in Kingsville. Additionally, a scattering of her ashes is planned at Kahshe Lake in Muskoka later this year.

Memorial donations in Susan’s memory can be made to Holy Trinity/St. Paul’s Anglican Church, the Renal Centre of Windsor Regional Hospital, or any charity of personal choice. Her unwavering support for Brian’s career and endeavors will always be remembered, as will her faith, beautifully expressed in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”
