New Bushtucker Trial Rules
Under the updated rules, individual contestants will not face the same trials multiple days in a row. Instead, they can participate in two consecutive trials before needing to miss a turn. This decision was made to ensure that all campmates have the chance to participate and showcase their abilities.
Previous Controversial Trials
Last season, viewers overwhelmingly voted for DJ Dean McCullough to take on six consecutive trials. Similarly, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock also faced a streak of six trials in the 2022 edition. The intense challenges often involve consuming exotic dishes such as:
- Kangaroo anus
- Crocodile penis
- Sheep semen
Participants may also encounter disturbing creatures like snakes, cockroaches, and rats, contributing to the trials’ gruesome reputation.
Objective of the Changes
These new rules are aimed at giving each contestant a fair chance at the Bushtucker trials. By limiting the number of consecutive trials, the show’s producers hope to create a more diverse and engaging experience for both the celebrities and the audience.
