8-Year-Old Girl Falls to Death from Vancouver Balcony: Police Report

A tragic incident occurred in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighborhood, resulting in the death of an eight-year-old girl. The Vancouver Police Department reported that the girl fell from a high-rise balcony on November 11, 2023.

Emergency services were notified at approximately 2:30 p.m. PT. The child fell from the 23rd floor to a balcony on the seventh floor of a residential building located near Nelson Street and Expo Boulevard. Despite immediate first aid efforts by first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
