Netflix’s First House Opens This Week, Expanding Immersive Experiences

Netflix has officially launched its first permanent entertainment venue, known as Netflix House, this week in Philadelphia’s King of Prussia Mall. Spanning over 100,000 square feet, this innovative space features immersive experiences centered around popular Netflix titles.

Location and Experience Offerings

The Netflix House occupies the former Lord & Taylor department store, a significant retail location built in 1963. This mall is one of the largest in the United States and draws visitors from Philadelphia and nearby states, including New York and New Jersey.

Entry to the Netflix House is free for shopping and dining. However, certain experiences require tickets, which vary in price:

Tickets for the venue went on sale on October 20, and the company reports strong interest ahead of its grand opening.

Netflix House has had a positive impact on the local community, employing over 260 tradespeople during its construction. Upon opening, it will generate nearly 300 permanent jobs and feature collaborations with local artists, including a mural by Emily White showcasing popular Netflix characters.

Following the Philadelphia launch, a second Netflix House is set to open in Dallas, Texas, on December 11. This location will offer similar experiences but will include an arcade instead of mini-golf.
