The Buffalo Bills have strengthened their practice squad by signing wide receiver Mecole Hardman, reports Jeremy Fowler from ESPN. This move adds significant experience to the team’s roster as they deal with offensive challenges.

Mecole Hardman Joins the Bills Practice Squad

Mecole Hardman, 27, brings a wealth of experience to the Bills. He has won three Super Bowl championships during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs. Hardman is a native of Bowman, Georgia, and was recognized as a Pro Bowler in 2019.

Career Highlights

Hardman was selected as the 56th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft after playing for the University of Georgia. Over six seasons, he has participated in 80 career games. His impressive statistics include:

  • 178 receptions
  • 2,302 receiving yards
  • 16 touchdowns

Last season, Hardman played in 12 games for the Chiefs and also had a brief five-game stint with the New York Jets.

Bills’ Current Status

The Bills currently hold a record of 6-3 and are looking to rebound from a recent 30-13 defeat to the Miami Dolphins. This loss highlighted their need for additional offensive support.

So far this season, Khalil Shakir leads the Bills in receiving yards with 457, ranking 41st in the league. As they prepare for their next matchup, the Bills will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who also boast a 6-3 record.
