Explore Vancouver’s New ‘Harry Potter’ Experience with Exclusive Photos

A brand new attraction, “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience,” has opened in Vancouver, Canada. This immersive experience debuts at Stanley Park on November 7, 2025. The attraction replaces the previously popular Bright Nights light display, which has relocated to Surrey.

Transformative Experience in Stanley Park

The entrance for this magical journey is located at 690 Pipeline Road. Visitors can expect an approximately one-hour trek through a spellbinding forest replete with sights and sounds from the Harry Potter universe. The builders have altered the landscape, creating a walking trail by either removing train tracks or covering them with gravel.

Exciting Features

  • Motion-activated spellcasting.
  • Magical creatures and iconic scenes from the films.
  • Immersive audio effects that enhance the atmosphere.
  • Thousands of lights illuminating the trail.

This carefully curated experience is brought to life by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Fever, and Rifflandia Entertainment Company. Visitors can immerse themselves in a world of magic, but they should prepare for some surprises along the way.

Visiting Details

The attraction is expected to draw large crowds. Tickets are available on the official website. Prices start at $43 for off-peak times, with most ranging from $70 to $85. Deluxe packages are available at a higher cost. Children under three can enter for free.

The experience operates between 4:45 PM and 10:15 PM, with the final date for bookings set for January 11. Accessibility may be limited due to the trail’s steep sections, which might pose challenges for wheelchair users. The organizers caution that some elements could be frightening; visitors with arachnophobia are advised to inform staff to accommodate their needs.

Prepare for an unforgettable evening walk in Vancouver’s Stanley Park, where magic comes to life in the “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience.”
