CBS and Sony Resolve ‘Jeopardy!’, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Conflict

Paramount Skydance Corp.’s CBS Media Ventures and Sony Pictures Television have resolved their dispute concerning the distribution of the popular game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
Distribution Agreement Details
CBS will maintain exclusive domestic distribution rights for both shows until the end of the 2027-2028 season. This decision was communicated to CBS Media Ventures’ business partners in a note reviewed by Bloomberg.
Future Distribution Plans
- Domestic distribution will transition to Sony Pictures Television after the 2027-2028 season.
- International distribution rights will officially move to Sony on December 1.
