Otsego County has announced the unofficial results of the recent November elections, highlighting significant developments in local governance and education.
Gaylord City Council Election Results
In the election for the Gaylord City Council, six candidates competed for three open seats. The candidates were:
- Pieternel Feeheley
- Ryan Kennedy
- Vic Ouellette
- Taylor Peterson
- Hannah Techel
- Alan Witt
According to unofficial results from the Otsego County Clerk, the top three candidates were:
- Vic Ouellette – 382 votes
- Hannah Techel – 355 votes
- Ryan Kennedy – 316 votes
Other candidates received the following votes:
- Alan Witt – 232 votes
- Taylor Peterson – 222 votes
- Pieternel Feeheley – 84 votes
These results will remain unofficial until they are certified by the Board of Canvassers.
Cheboygan-Otsego-Presque Isle Educational Service District Proposal
The career and technical education (CTE) millage proposal by the Cheboygan-Otsego-Presque Isle Educational Service District was also addressed in this election. The proposal did not pass, as indicated by the unofficial results released by the Cheboygan County Clerk:

- Yes votes: 5,737
In Otsego County specifically, the breakdown was:

- No votes: 2,468
The totals included contributions from two townships in Charlevoix County. Meanwhile, two townships in Emmet County recorded:
