Mo was the son of Joe and Pauline Kolody and was predeceased by them. He was a loving brother to Emily Rocheleau, Vera McLeod, and Lisa Kolody.
Professional Life
Born in Ukraine, Mo immigrated to Canada with his family in 1951. He pursued diverse career paths, including serving as a police officer and working at General Motors. In 1976, he co-founded Kolody Contracting with Marlene, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit.
Passion and Beliefs
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mo was an avid outdoorsman who fostered many friendships during his life. He was deeply committed to his Ukrainian heritage and supported independence efforts for his homeland.
Mo’s gentle strength, sense of humor, and dedication to family will be his lasting legacy. Cremation has been carried out according to his wishes.
Memorial Services
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mo’s life at Lakeshore St Andrews, located at 235 Amy Croft. The visitation will take place on November 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Celebration of Life will continue on November 7, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM, leading up to the service at 11:00 AM.
