Aldi has unveiled its Christmas campaign for 2025, celebrating a decade of its beloved mascot, Kevin the Carrot. This year’s festive advert takes a romantic twist, showcasing Kevin preparing to propose to his partner, Katie the Carrot.

The first of three planned installments launched online, with the TV debut scheduled for 8:15 PM. The teaser features a snowy scene, with Kevin and their pet, Caulidog, waiting outside Katie’s home. Notably, Caulidog sports a diamond ring attached to its collar, hinting at Kevin’s proposal.
A Milestone for Kevin the Carrot
This advert marks an important milestone for Kevin, who has been a staple in Aldi’s Christmas campaigns since 2015. Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK’s Managing Director of Buying, shared that the campaign aims to highlight ten years of Kevin with a “sprinkle of magic and romance.”
Ashfield expressed the enthusiastic response from customers. “We know how much our customers adore Kevin,” she said. The teaser promises a heartwarming festive season, emphasizing that love is central to the holidays. She added, “We can’t wait for everyone to join Kevin and Katie on their journey and see what other surprises we have in store.”

 - The campaign will follow a similar festive theme as Sainsbury’s recent ad featuring the BFG.
