Natick MA Veterans’ Storywalk Showcases Over 150 Local Stories

The Morse Institute Library in Natick, Massachusetts, is set to host its second annual Veterans’ Storywalk, showcasing over 150 local veteran stories. The public exhibit will open on Wednesday, November 5, 2023, at 1 p.m. and will run until November 13, 2023.

Exhibit Details

The Storywalk will feature signs placed along the sidewalks of Natick Common. These signs will link to oral histories gathered by the library’s Veterans Oral History Project, which has captured the experiences of more than 350 veterans over the past 28 years.

Miki Wolfe, director of the Morse Institute Library, expressed gratitude to veterans who have shared their stories. “Their voices enrich our community’s understanding of military history and public service,” she stated. Wolfe emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by many for the nation.

Engaging with Local Veterans’ Stories

The Storywalk will commence with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on November 5. Attendees are encouraged to explore the exhibit and reflect on the contributions of local veterans.
