Chelsea Defender Caught Speeding on Hard Shoulder in Ninth Offence

Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has faced legal repercussions after being caught speeding on the hard shoulder, marking his ninth offense. The incident, which took place at 4:50 PM, was witnessed and recorded by another motorist.
Details of the Speeding Incident
During the court proceedings, prosecutor Rabbi Khan explained the severity of Fofana’s actions. He was driving on the hard shoulder in a designated 50mph zone, violating critical road safety rules. The danger was exacerbated by an approaching bend that was clearly signposted. Notably, Fofana did not use his indicators while making these dangerous maneuvers.
Previous Offences and Penalties
This latest incident follows a history of speeding violations for Fofana. In May of the previous year, he was disqualified from driving at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court after accumulating numerous penalty points from offenses involving high-end vehicles including his Rolls Royce Cullinan, Audi, and Lamborghini Urus.

Sentencing Outcome
Judge Cooper delivered the sentence, which included an 18-month Community Order along with 300 hours of community service.
