Participants will gather at the army reserve centre at Hatton House on Bothwell Road at 2:30 PM for a parade that includes standard bearers and military representatives.

Commemoration Efforts Across the Region
Throughout the Remembrance weekend, representatives of the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy will lay wreaths at nearly 70 war memorials across the county. Lady Haughey emphasized the importance of remembering the 2,309 Lanarkshire men and women who lost their lives in the war, stating that their names are memorialized in local towns and villages.
In tribute to those who served, the Civic Centre in Motherwell will be illuminated in red for the duration of Remembrance weekend and on Armistice Day, November 11. Poppyscotland is encouraging buildings nationwide to participate in the “Light Up Red” initiative, which aims to visually express gratitude and remembrance. Last year, nearly 200 locations took part in this initiative.
Conclusion
The Remembrance Sunday services are a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by the armed forces. Community participation in these events not only honors the memory of the fallen but also unites people in gratitude and respect.
