SJHL Champions Men’s Health with Movember Initiative Support

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is making strides in promoting men’s health through its participation in the Movember initiative. Building on last year’s success, the league aims to raise greater awareness and funds throughout November.
SJHL’s Commitment to Men’s Health
In 2022, the SJHL raised over $20,000 for Movember, and this year, it is determined to surpass that amount. Players, coaches, and staff will grow moustaches to symbolize their support for men’s physical and mental health. This initiative seeks to spark vital conversations and raise funds for men’s health issues.
How to Get Involved
Fans are invited to participate in the movement by supporting their local SJHL teams. Each team is conducting its own fundraising campaign, encouraging community involvement and donations. The league will provide weekly updates showcasing the moustache growth of players, adding a fun visual element to the initiative.

Special Events and Recognition
A special guest from Movember Canada will join SJHL Weekly to discuss the significance of the initiative and its influence on men’s lives. Additionally, the SJHL will recognize the team that raises the most funds with a special prize, acknowledging their leadership in this crucial health campaign.
