Palm Coast’s ‘Hall of Terror’ Invites Guests to Camp Crystal Lake

Palm Coast’s ‘Hall of Terror’ is back, promising a spine-chilling experience inspired by the iconic ‘Friday the 13th’ franchise. Taking place at Fire Station 21, this annual haunted house event has become a highly anticipated tradition for locals and visitors alike.
Event Details
The ‘Hall of Terror’ will run on October 30 and 31 from 7 to 10 p.m. each night at Palm Coast Fire Station 21, located at 9 Corporate Drive. A special sensory-sensitive hour will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. for those who prefer a more comfortable atmosphere.
Historic Attendance
This year marks the event’s evolution since it shifted from a small Halloween display at former Fire Chief Jerry Conte’s residence to a thriving community event at the fire station. Last year, nearly 7,000 attendees participated, making it one of Palm Coast’s most popular Halloween attractions.
Themed Experience
Fire Lt. Dan Driscoll has managed the event since 2012 and noted that the ‘Friday the 13th’ theme will create a fully immersive experience. Unique elements representing scenes from the film series will be featured throughout the haunted house.
- Prominent displays include masks from “Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.”
- Jason’s resurrection from “Jason Lives.”
- A special room dedicated to “Jason Takes Manhattan.”
Community Involvement
Driscoll emphasized the importance of teamwork in organizing the show, with numerous volunteers contributing to its success. Promotional materials created by Patrick Appolonia help draw in an audience eager for unique Halloween entertainment.
Parking and Admission
Admission to the ‘Hall of Terror’ is free, and food trucks will be available on-site for guests to enjoy snacks while they wait in line. Parking is conveniently located at the fire station, with additional space available at Kohl’s shopping center nearby.
As Halloween approaches, Palm Coast’s ‘Hall of Terror’ promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with thrills and chills, making it a must-visit for horror enthusiasts and families alike.
