Celtic Confirms Kennedy’s Exit; Promotes McManus Amid Trio Departures

Celtic FC has officially announced the departure of assistant manager John Kennedy. The club confirmed that Kennedy, who has been with the team in various capacities since 2010, is leaving following a series of changes within the coaching staff.

Celtic Coaching Changes

John Kennedy, 42, started his tenure at Celtic as a scout before transitioning to the reserve coaching team. In 2014, he joined the first-team staff and became assistant manager in 2019 during Neil Lennon’s second term with the club.

Management Transition

This announcement comes shortly after Brendan Rodgers resigned as Celtic manager. Martin O’Neill, a former Celtic player, has been appointed as interim manager. He will be supported by Shaun Maloney, another former player.
