Career Path

Hagerty’s journey at Northwestern began in 1984 at the Kellogg School of Management, where she holds the First Chicago Professorship in Finance. She previously served as the associate provost for faculty and acted as the interim dean of Kellogg. Currently, she holds the distinction of being the longest-serving provost in the Big Ten Conference.

Her departure marks a significant transition for Northwestern as the university community looks forward to the next chapter of leadership.
