A suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of Sanchini Thompson in Lewisham. This development follows a proactive operation by the Metropolitan Police.

On the evening of Tuesday, 21 October, a 33-year-old man was apprehended in Scotland. He will be transferred to custody in London for further inquiries related to this case.

Incident Overview

Sanchini Thompson, aged 27, was tragically murdered on 15 October. The police received emergency reports of a stabbing at Rushey Green in Lewisham at approximately 03:06 AM. When officers and the London Ambulance Service arrived, they found Sanchini with severe stab wounds.

Despite the medical team’s efforts, Sanchini was pronounced dead later in the hospital.
