The Miami Dolphins have officially placed tight end Darren Waller on injured reserve. This decision comes after Waller sustained a pectoral injury during the team’s recent loss to the Cleveland Browns. The talented player will now miss a minimum of four weeks as he recovers from this setback.
Darren Waller’s Performance Prior to Injury
Since rejoining the NFL this summer, Waller has made a significant impact. He has recorded:

- 117 total yards
- 4 touchdown catches

Changes to the Dolphins’ Roster
In response to Waller’s injury, Miami has taken swift action by signing Greg Dulcich from the practice squad. Dulcich, a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, previously played for the Denver Broncos. During his rookie year, he recorded:

However, he faced injury issues in 2023, limiting his appearances to just two games. After being waived and later claimed by the Giants, Dulcich competed in five games before returning to the Dolphins’ practice squad.
