Justin’s Forecast: Early Showers, Afternoon Sunshine

Early weather forecasts indicate a mix of conditions across the region, particularly for Las Vegas. Expect early morning temperatures between the upper 50s and low 60s. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a slight 10% chance of passing showers or thundershowers.

Afternoon Sunshine

As the day progresses, conditions will improve significantly. Afternoon temperatures will reach the low 80s, providing a pleasant sunny environment. This transition to clear skies is expected to bring calm weather as the day unfolds.

Evening Outlook

Later tonight, clouds will increase after midnight. There remains a small 10% chance of rain as temperatures dip to around 60°F. The evening promises to be a quieter time, giving way to clearer days in the following days.

Upcoming Forecast

Thursday and Friday are set to be primarily sunny. Mornings will start cool, near the 60°F mark, with slightly lower temperatures in areas away from The Strip. Afternoon highs will be close to 80°F, which is slightly above average for this time of year.

Weekend Weather

The weekend will bring a change in conditions. A weather system moving across the West will create breezy conditions. Saturday will feature mostly cloudy skies with temperatures around 81°F and gusts up to 20 mph from the southwest.

  • Saturday: High of 81°F
  • Sunday: Upper 70s with partly to mostly cloudy skies
  • Winds: Southwest gusts reaching 20 mph

Cooler Start to Next Week

Temperatures will briefly drop to the mid-70s on Monday and Tuesday. Morning lows will be cooler, around the mid-50s. Despite the seasonal changes, sun protection should still be a priority when outdoors.

UV Index and Air Quality

The UV index remains moderate between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., which highlights the risk of sunburn in as little as 45 minutes. Additionally, pollen levels are expected to be low for the next four days, with sagebrush, ragweed, and elm as the main contributors.

The air quality in Las Vegas will be moderate during this period. Light winds during cool nights and mild afternoons have led to a buildup of fine particle pollution and ozone.
