Chris Young, a prominent figure in country music, has marked an incredible milestone with the release of his new album, I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, on October 17, 2023. This year, Young celebrates two decades in the music industry, showcasing not only his endurance but also his transformative journey as an artist.

Young’s latest project is released under Black River Entertainment, following his departure from RCA Nashville. The 14-track album features the single “‘Til The Last One Dies,” displaying a rich diversity in themes, from joyous moments to profound narratives.

In developing this album, Young sought a personal and intimate recording experience. He collaborated with longtime friend and co-producer Andy Sheridan, recording vocals in Sheridan’s home studio in Antioch, Tennessee. This hands-on approach allowed Young to refine each element of his performance.
