Husband Creates AI Clone of Suzanne Somers, Two Years After Her Death

Alan Hamel, the husband of the late actress Suzanne Somers, has embarked on an ambitious project to create an AI clone of her. This initiative comes two years after Somers’ death due to breast cancer in 2023 at the age of 76.
Creating the AI Clone of Suzanne Somers
Hamel, who was married to Somers for 55 years, revealed his plans during an interview with People magazine. He highlighted the emotional connection many felt towards his wife, stating, “Suzanne was obviously very loved, not only by her family but also by millions of people.”
Inspiration Behind the Project
The idea for the AI clone, referred to as the “Suzanne AI Twin,” was inspired by a demonstration of artificial intelligence that Hamel attended earlier this year. “It was Suzanne,” he recalled, impressed by how the AI responded to his questions. He noted, “When I look at the final version next to the real Suzanne, it’s impossible to tell the difference. It’s incredible!”
Utilizing Somers’ Legacy
The AI has been developed using extensive resources, including 27 of Somers’ books and hundreds of interviews she gave throughout her career. Hamel shared that this project honors Somers’ vision. “She believed it would be interesting and beneficial for her admirers and those seeking health information,” he added.
Continuing Somers’ Impact
Hamel expressed his pride in bringing Somers’ wishes to fruition. He aims to create a legacy that continues to provide value to her fans and readers for generations to come.
