In Mecosta County, several exciting community events are scheduled for this week. From parties to fundraising activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Cub Scout Pack 3114 Halloween Party

Location: Northend Riverside Park, Big Rapids

WELCA Fall Festival

Date: October 24

Location: St. Paul Lutheran Church, Reed City

  • Features: Craft sale, book sale, bake sale, and a luncheon (11 AM to 1 PM)
  • Event highlights include a prize drawing.

OBK’s Night of Fright

  • Cost: $10 per person
  • Experience: Haunted backyard attraction, groups of 10 for 10-15 minutes

Skeleton Skurry 5K Run/Walk/Roll

Family Halloween Night

  • Family Trick-or-Treat Hours in Big Rapids: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
  • Village of Mecosta Trick-or-Treat Hours: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
