Attraction History
Soarin’ first premiered at EPCOT in 2005, originally titled Soarin’ Over California. This attraction evolved from its debut at Disney California Adventure in 2001. In 2016, the ride transitioned to Soarin’ Around the World, expanding its reach to global landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China.
Soarin’ Over California has made limited returns, most recently during the 2023 Disney100 celebration at Walt Disney World. This new attraction will coincide with the United States’ 250th anniversary, celebrating the nation’s heart and spirit.
