Nike Revamps Iconic Air Force 1 with Premium Suede, Shiny Swooshes

Nike is introducing a fresh take on its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker by integrating premium suede details and glossy Swooshes. This revitalization comes with a new collection designed for the upcoming fall and winter seasons, aimed especially at women’s fashion.

Nike Air Force 1: A Classic Reimagined

The Nike Air Force 1, a silhouette first released in 1982, was originally crafted as a basketball performance shoe by designer Bruce Kilgore. Known for its supportive high-top design, it drew inspiration from the 1981 Nike Approach hiking boot, notable for its use of Gore-Tex technology.

New Additions to the Lineup

This season, Nike has unveiled the Air Force 1 Low ’07 collection in three distinct colorways. The current offerings include:

  • Light Bone (style code HV4406-001)
  • Mink Brown (style code HV4406-200)
  • Burgundy Crush (style code HV4406-600) – Coming soon

Each version features upper materials crafted from premium suede, setting them apart from the traditional leather options. The designs boast glossy accents reminiscent of Nike’s 2010s Vac-Tech material.

Details and Pricing

The trio of new styles is crafted to provide a more luxurious look and feel, with a retail price of $125 for each pair. The Light Bone and Mink Brown versions are currently available at nike.com and select retailers, while the Burgundy Crush model is expected to be released in the upcoming weeks.

Nike continues to expand its Air Force 1 lineup, highlighting its commitment to merging classic design with contemporary materials. Customers can expect a mix of both style and functionality in this iconic sneaker.
