Bears vs Saints: DJ Moore In, Two Starters Out Due to Injury

The injury reports are in for the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints ahead of their matchup this Sunday in Chicago. The Bears have a clearer outlook compared to earlier predictions.
Bears Injury Updates
Chicago will proceed without kicker Cairo Santos, who is sidelined due to a right thigh injury sustained last week. In addition, strong-side linebacker Noah Sewell has been ruled out following a concussion from a recent game. Despite being a full practice participant, he must clear concussion protocols before he can return.
Five Bears players are currently listed as questionable:
- Defensive end Austin Booker (knee)
- Running back Travis Homer (calf)
- Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (knee)
- Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (knee)
- Running back D’Andre Swift (groin)
Booker, Homer, and Ogbongbemiga are all practicing fully. Notably, Booker and Homer are in the second week of their practice window from injured reserve, while Ogbongbemiga’s window opened just this week. The Bears are expected to activate Booker, especially after releasing defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon.
Meanwhile, Jarrett and Swift have had limited participation in practice. This is Jarrett’s first practice since Week 3, and although Swift expressed confidence about playing, his status remains uncertain until game day.
DJ Moore’s Status
Wide receiver DJ Moore, who was hospitalized following an injury in the recent Monday night game, has bounced back well. He participated in practices this week and has no injury designation heading into the game.
Saints Injury Report
The New Orleans Saints report two players on their injury list: cornerback Isaac Yiadom (hamstring) and defensive tackle John Ridgeway (shoulder). Both players practiced fully and are anticipated to participate in the upcoming game.
Game Day Expectations
As the Bears prepare to face the Saints, both teams are looking to finalize their rosters and strategies based on these injury reports. Fans can expect an exciting game day, with significant contributions anticipated from DJ Moore and other key players.
